Kerala is divided into three geographical regions: Highlands, which slope down from the Western Ghats onto the Midlands of undulating hills and valleys into an unbroken 580 km long coastline with many picturesque backwaters, interconnected with canals and rivers. The wild lands are covered with dense forests, while other regions lie under tea and coffee plantations or other forms of cultivation. Most of the state is engulfed in rich greenery which ensures a very calming experience at all times.

Kerala has misty hill stations, emerald green valleys, lush eco-tourism locales, refreshing waterfalls, numerous rivers, network of lagoons, natural harbours, jungles with exotic flora and fauna, and more – all of which remain evergreen attractions to the travel enthusiast.

The state is known for its several heritage zones and historic places housing ancient structures of vintage value and famous monuments serving as relics of a glorious past.

Itinerary

Day 1 – 130 KM:4 Hr – Overnight Stay at Munnar

• Pick up from Cochin Airport – Meet our driver cum your Tour Guide & directly proceed on fascinating journey to Munnar (an idyllic tourist destination in Kerala) enjoying the stunning panoramic view of the green Carpets of tea plantation enroute. Its unending expanse of tea plantations, pristine valleys & Mountains, the aroma of spice scented cool air, exotic species of flora & fauna in its wildlife sanctuaries & forests. It’s the place you would love to visit and never wish to leave. Enroute enjoy the Cheeyapara waterfalls & Valara Waterfalls. On arrival, check-in in at Resort & Spend the rest of the day at leisure enjoying with the mist & clouds.

Day 2 – ( Local Sightseeing ) – Overnight Stay at Munnar

• After an early morning breakfast move towards Munnar local sightseeing visiting Eravikulam National Park famous for watching Nilgiry Thar & also south India’s highest peak “Anamudi” & thereafter visit Rose Garden. Post Lunch enjoy random clicks at Munnar Photo Point, Enjoy beauty of Mattupetty Dam, Be screaming crazy at Eco Point & Get in love with Tea Plantations. Evening spend time in local Munnar market enjoying Shopping. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 3 – 100 Km,4 Hrs – Overnight Stay at Thekkady

• After an early breakfast, check out from the Munnar hotel & proceed to Thekkady which is also famously called Periyar. Enroute visit the Spice Garden for a short journey into the spice life of Kerala & thereafter go on adventure ride with Elephant Safari. Checks in at Resort & after fresh up go on an evening game viewing cruise on the Periyar Lake at Periyar Tiger Reserve. Other attraction includes Jungle Boarder Jeep Safari, Kathakali Show, Martial Arts Show, Ayurvedic Message & last but not the least Local Shopping. Rest of the day at leisure

Day 4 – 140 Km,4 Hrs – Overnight Stay at Alleppey

• After Breakfast drive down to Alleppey- With a large network of inland canals earning it the sobriquet “Venice of the East”. Famous for its Backwaters & Houseboat which you can’t find anywhere else in the world. A glide in a Houseboat through the enchanting backwater is sure to rob your Mind & Heart. Check in at Resort/Houseboat & experience the life beyond this world along the backwater while cursing in Backwaters – Evening enjoy the sunset from the Backwater which is itself gone be a mesmerizing moment. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 5 – Happy Journey

• After Breakfast, Proceed towards your onwards Journey to Cochin Airport/Station – If time permits can offer cochin local sightseeing – Depart as per schedule with Happy Memories.

The cost per head includes the following.

• Accommodation: Hotel/Resort on double sharing basis.
• Meals: Complimentary breakfast from Day 2 (fixed menu; extras are chargeable).

Cab Rules in Personalized plans

• No smoking, Alcohol, or Eating in the vehicle.
• Driver working hours: Strictly 8:30 AM to 7 PM.
• No night driving, except emergencies.
• Stick to the itinerary; deviations cost extra.
• Tipping the driver is encouraged.
• AC policy: Most Kerala drivers won’t open windows or drive without AC.

Houseboat Rules (Only if applicable)

• Houseboat Category: Fully Private Houseboat with Cruising & Overnight Stay
• Check Inn: 12 PM; Checkout – 9 AM
• AC timing: Deluxe Houseboat: 9 PM to 6 AM : Premium/Luxury Houseboat : Anytime from the time of Check Inn.
• Cruising time: Check Inn time to evening 5 PM
• Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Evening Tea & Dinner on board (Authentic Kerala style)
• As per Govt restriction Houseboat will be stationed at Shore at one place from 5:00 pm to 8:00 am.

• Changing hotels on arrival/traveling time incurs cancellation charges
• Hotel standard check-in: 2 pm, check-out: 11 am (early/late subject to availability)
• Balance payment due on or before arrival (no cheque/DD accepted)
• Hills Stations like Munnar, Thekkady, Vagamon, Wayanad don’t have A/C rooms due to cold climate
• Monuments ,Museum, Tourist attraction , Activity center’s may be closed due there weekly holiday, maintenance, holidays, bad weather or strikes
• We will not be held responsible for delays/cancellations caused by airlines or external events
